Purley Branch

I took a walk in Rotary Field today and noticed that the broken handrail has now been fixed. Actually as I walked to it I thought it had been fixed and already broken but it has been installed in a rather wonky fashion.

Last night around 70-80 local residents came together to discuss how we could re-open Purley Pool after the Labour Council's decision to never re-open Purley Pool.

It was really interesting to hear from local residents about their concerns regarding Purley Pool.

I was extremely pleased to hear today that the appeal for the planning application at 38 Oakwood Avenue has been refused.

The grass has been cut in Purley Rotary Field, after many requests for this to happen.

On Friday I participated in the library consultation exercises at both Sanderstead and Purley libraries with Cllr Hopley in Sanderstead and Cllr Brew in Purley.

The Council is setting up face to face consultations for Purley and Sanderstead Libraries. The plan is to set up a table and tent just outside the library entrances and invite residents to drop by for a face to face conversation with Officers.   The Council has discussed with Public
