Many of you will be aware that at July’s Cabinet it was agreed to carry out a period of public consultation on Croydon’s new Draft Parking Policy. I wanted to write to let you know that consultation is now commencing and will last for six weeks, concluding on 31 October. As part of the consultation Croydon Council are hosting a series of drop-in sessions at a variety of libraries and at a variety of times of day across the borough. The events are listed at the bottom of this email and you are welcome to attend any of the events. We also have a Get Involved online survey and consultation page where residents and partners are able to read a copy of the draft policy and provide their feedback via the survey questionnaire. The webpage has further information including, the Cabinet papers, and FAQs but any queries or requests for hardcopies of the survey can be directed to our email address [email protected] . Consultation will be immensely valuable in gathering views and help us to refine the Draft Parking Policy before it is finalised later this year. I would encourage anyone interested to read the policy and visit the consultation page to provide their feedback. The web address for our Get Involved page is https://news.croydon.gov.uk/have-your-say-on-croydons-new-parking-strategy/ The Council will be undertaking ten public drop-in sessions where local residents and businesses are invited to obtain further information and provide feedback.
