Nikhil Sherine Thampi has always enjoyed getting stuck in to his local community, being a member of East Coulsdon Residents Association, and the former Chairman of Cane Hill Park Residents Association.
He earned his Master's Degree in Advanced Software Engineering from the University of Leicester in 2010, and is currently working as IT Configurations Manager for South West London and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust in Tooting. Nikhil lives with his wife Nivea and daughter Joann in Coulsdon. He plays tennis league for Reedham Park tennis club. He is a local church member in Old Coulsdon, attends local events, campaigns on issues such as planning, and is passionate about the area. He can't wait to get started as your local Councillor, and urges residents to back the Conservatives in May 2022 in order to restore financial security to the borough.

Bird Sanctuary clean up

Tomorrow 16h December we are once again at the Bird Sanctuary in the Glade Old Coulsdon, to clear the fences of  undergrowth encroachment on to the pavement and  also litter picking. Everybody is welcome.

The Keston School Street scheme is to be discontinued on October 20th 2023 following the amount of residents that have spoken against it, including Keston school not being in favour,.

Parking Policy

Many of you will be aware that at July’s Cabinet it was agreed to carry out a period of public consultation on Croydon’s new Draft Parking Policy. I wanted to write to let you know that consultation is now commencing and will last for six weeks, concluding on 31 October.

Potholes in Rydons Lane

I have  further reported the potholes in Rydons Lane today as they are still awaiting repair.

Update on gas leak on Marlpit Lane Cnr Reddown Rd

SGN have amended their end date to their permit for Reddown Road and Marlpit Lane as they are still trying to locate the gas leak. The works are now expected to be completed by 26th June.
