I am local to Kenley, where I live with my wife Fiona and our two children, Chloe and Joshua. We love Kenley and have chosen to make the local area our home for our young family.
I am a Corporate Responsiblity professional and the Director of Employment & Skills at Business in the Community, the UK's largest and most influential business network. I am passionate about social mobility, especially in the role of enterprise in providing people with the opportunities to thrive through education and employment. I am also a Trustee of Oasis Charitable Trust, a charity that runs over 50 schools and is embedded in over 40 communities across the UK.
I’ve been a committed community activist for my entire working life. I’m proud to have spent a large amount of my career working with charities, businesses, schools and local authorities to promote community development, particularly through young people. For me, nothing is more important than building a strong, passionate community. As one of your Councillors for Kenley, that’s what you’ll get from me 24 hours a day.
That’s what I think Kenley needs. We’re full of so many incredible local groups run by committed local people. I want to work with you all to ensure you get the support that you need from Croydon Council.
