I’m excited to share that, with the support of the Ramblers, Croydon Council is in the process of re-establishing the Wellbeing Walks Programme in Croydon. Wellbeing Walks are free, short walks held across England, designed to help people take their first steps toward better health, wellbeing, and happiness. With hundreds of walks taking place each week, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this initiative a success in Croydon.
We are currently seeking individuals interested in becoming participants as well as walk leaders to guide the walks.
Walk leaders will be responsible for coordinating the walks, taking registers, and completing online training courses and a face to face to training with a trial walk to ensure the safety of all participants.
