Still in lockdown but a lovely spring day so feeling positive, I arrived at the Methodist Church in Shirley to find volunteers and the redoubtable Suzy organising an Easter parcel for the elderly and vulnerable in the Shirley community.
Even though Shirley Neighbourhood Care has had it's grant cut due to the incompetence of this Council they have still managed to 'pull out all the stops' gather together the selfless volunteers and deliver on their promises.
