Residents have let me know they believe squatters are now living in the Rail View Pub. I contacted the Planning Department but as usual nothing will be done as apparently the owner is out of the country and does not answer e mails! Right from the beginning the Labour Council refused to accept the concerns of residents and ward councillors when they reported the building was being demolished under their noses and without permission. By the time a stop notice was served it was far too late. Now local residents who live near have to look at a decaying building that has been left to fall down over a number of years and now with squatters. The Labour Council has once again demonstrated that they couldn’t care less about our local area here in South Croydon.
