Very successful Purley Christmas fair on Sat 25/11

Congratulations to Purley BID (Business Improvement District) for organising yesterday's Purley Christmas fair at the site of the proposed Purley Pool redevelopment. There were about 15 stall selling a variety of Christmas goods,and street food, face painting for kids, and a succession of musical items.
Despite the bitterly cold weather, there was a good turnout, including at the Conservative stall where we met lots of residents, and dealt with a wide range of issues. The photo shows Cllrs Dwesar & Brew, and Simon Cripps & Catherine Garrad of the Purley BID.

Update on Coulsdon Town Bus Stop Display

Many residents (including me!) are frustrated at the fact that the LED 'countdown' display showing live bus times at Bus Stop J (outside Card Factory / Coughlans / Caffe Nero) has been out of action for many weeks now. I have been talking with TfL and they have provided me with the response below.
