Beautiful Flowers in URC Church Today for the Anniversary Service

I was pleased to be able to attend the Sanderstead United Reformed Church Anniversary on behalf of Mayor Jason Perry.  It was a beautiful service commemorating the anniversary and acknowledging the importance of the harvest festival where donations are going to the Purley Food Hub.  We welcomed a new member to the parish and a selection of beautiful hymns were sang with the choir.

At this difficult time in Croydon when we mourn the loss of a young girls life to knife crime the importance of faith groups and community are ever more important.
