Friends of Croham Hurst Woods fund new projects

Presenting cheque from FCHWS to Council

As Chair of Friends of Croham Hurst Woods along with our Treasurer we were pleased to hand over a cheque to the Council to fund two of our projects for 2023.

We funded the excellent sensitive work on the historic viewpoint keeping it open for years to come. We also funded strimming the holly regrowth to continue to allow the light and warmth flood across the Hurst on the Upper Selsdon road side bringing huge benefits to the Hurst.

Since 2002 FCHWS have funded numerous projects enhancing the Hurst it’s trees plants and birds and animals and helping our residents and visitors enjoy one of the jewels in Croydon’s crown.
