Residents know Crystal Palace and Upper Norwood wouldn’t be the same without the Stambourne Woodland Walk. A sweep of trees running between residential roads and freeways, it is a strikingly beautiful patch of land, and a welcome escape to nature from polluted streets. Stambourne Woodland Walk is the kind of place parents take their children, people walk their pets, and romances blossom. Such a shame that Labour’s local plan did not see fit to protect it.
If elected on May 3rd Croydon Conservatives will protect green spaces like this which have lost their protections; another good reason to vote for a Council that is on your side.
