After speaking to some of the local community in New Addington last week, I was made aware of a fantastic group of volunteers, Jenny and some of her neighbours, who regularly clear Milne Park of litter!
Jenny and her fantastic group of volunteers had one problem however, they were struggling to obtain litter picks from Croydon Council.
So of course, I was more than happy to help them with this noble cause, and I have managed to obtain five litter picks for the group!
It is fantastic to see so many members of the New Addington community taking real pride in their area, there are lots of other Jenny’s across New Addington, and Croydon as a whole!
