In December 2020, I blogged here: https://www.croydonconservatives.com/news/beware-school-streets
about the Haling Road school street in South Croydon which had caught many drivers unawares and caused them to incur one or more heavy fines. There's another school street called Parsons Mead in Broad Green ward which has also caught many drivers unaware from all over the borough, and one unfortunate driver got 13 tickets potentially costing him £845. I'm delighted to see from Inside Croydon:

that 12 of these tickets have now been withdrawn. This gives me hope that many of the tickets issued for Haling Road may also be dropped, so if you were caught by this, please lodge an appeal, even if you didn't appeal first time round.
