Update 9am: sewage leak on Chipstead Valley Road

I'm pleased to report that just after 9am a Thames Water cleaning crew were on site to make their initial repairs and commence washing down the area.

Residents have been posting pictures of the damage this sewage leak has caused both to their properties and to their vechicles - with some reporting that the first clean is not good enough.

Thames Water has assured me that they will be going back multiple times to wash the local area. If this is not done to a good enough standard, please let me know by emailing [email protected].
