Twelve new trees to be planted in Rotary Field

Last week I attended a meeting at Rotary Field with the Council's trees officer Helen Lomasney and representatives from Purley in Bloom & the PWRA, and Purley Rotary.. 

The Council has successfully applied for some external funding to plant about 350 new trees all round the South of the Borough; it's been agreed that six of them will be in vacant tree pits in Purley High Street, and twelve of them will be in Rotary Field, so we met to agree where they should be planted.
