Before lockdown and before we were pitched into Tier 4 I had the privilege of seeing for myself (at a suitable social distance) the community in Shirley pulling together to help the most vulnerable. Shirley Neighbourhood Care under the excellent stewardship of Suzy and her valiant volunteers organised a delivery of Christmas parcels to nearly two hundred of the most elderly and vulnerable.
