It was an honour to attend the Remembrance Sunday service at All Saints’ Church yesterday morning and to lay a wreath at the War Memorial in the Churchyard on behalf of the Sanderstead Ward councillors.
The Service was very well attended and it was lovely to see so many children – Rainbows and Brownies, Cubs and Scouts - taking active parts in the Service and placing their Poppy crosses in the ground.
It was a beautiful morning to pay our respects to all who have fallen in battle and given us, and future generations, our freedom.
