I met with officers and plot owners from Sanderstead Allotments to discuss the recent emergency works to the water supply that had to be undertaken. There have been issues with water pressure and some of the plot owners were concerned with the condition of the drive and making good of the land after the pipes had been laid. Officers are going to take this up with the contractor who will hopefully be able to attend to the repairs required to make good the driveway and walk area. The issue around water pressure is going to be difficult to address when a number of plot holder are using the system at the same time. A water management system has been suggested to help alleviate the problem.
