Andrew Price has been announced as the Conservative Candidate for Park Hill & Whitgift on Thursday 2nd May.
Commenting, Andrew Price said:
I'm proud to be your Local Conservative Candidate for Park Hill & Whitgift on the 2nd May.
I have lived in Croydon my whole life, and I chose to make Park Hill my home 11 years ago. I love the sense of community that exists in this part of Croydon - that’s why my wife and I have chosen to raise our two children here.
I am a criminal barrister, and am known for standing up for those I represent. Outside of work, I tend an allotment in Park Hill, as well as being a regular runner in the Lloyd Parkrun. I attend Croydon Redeemer Church at Archbishop Tenison’s, and I’m a proud Crystal Palace Season Ticket holder.
From 2006-2010, I served as a Councillor for the nearby Addiscombe ward, during which time I:
• Helped the development and opening of Addiscombe Railway Park,
• Established a Conservation Area to help prevent the overdevelopment of flats, and
• Represented residents at a major public inquiry to defeat a large inappropriate development.
Vote for the Local Conservatives on Thursday 2nd May, so that we can continue the progress made by Conservative Mayor Jason Perry to fix Croydon’s finances, to change Labour’s planning policies, and to get Croydon Town Centre moving again.
