Heavy Rain Causing Severe Flooding in Mitchley Avenue

To warn residents driving through Lower Barn Road and Mitchley Avenue that there is severe flooding in the area.  This has been a hotspot for many years.  Officers have issued a works order to cleanse the area as soon as possible to remove any standing water and jet all nearby gullies.  The cleansing system is to be increased which is good news which may help.
