It was good to have the opportunity to see how Guide Dogs ensure children and young people with a vision impairment are receiving the support they need, when they need it. They shared information on reasonable adjustments in schools, highlighting the value of essential ‘habilitation’ services in providing children with independent-living skills,. It was good to have the opportunity to speak to people young and old about the importance of guide dogs in their lives.
