We can all see how graffiti has despoiled Croydon. If you walk into the town centre from where I live in South Croydon graffiti is everywhere on buildings,walls, shops and street furniture. A depressing sight caused by the cutting of the graffiti team by the current Administration of Croydon Council.
I was saddened and angry to see today that one of the Information Boards at Croham Hurst Woods has been defaced by graffiti. I know how much work was done by a Friends of Croham Hurst Woods committee member on the design and content and how the generosity of the membership of FCHWS funded the 4 Information Boards. We wanted to inform and help all visitors to the Hurst to enjoy this wonderful place.
I am hoping we may be able to clean it up and it’s not permanently damaged.
