Croydon's main service of remembrance was held at Croydon Minster today, and at 12:30pm there was also a short wreath-laying service at the Town Hall Cenotaph.
It was very well attended with representatives of Croydon's many Faith groups, several hundred armed forces and cadet personnel as well as representatives from many public service bodies such as the Police and Fire services and the political parties. It's alway an honour to be invited to attend this service, which was led by the King's representative (Deputy Lieutenant) in Surrey, Col Ray Wilkinson.
