Croydon Loves You is a new wellbeing programme supporting projects such as Little Manhattan walks and reminiscence events; Thinking of You, Always; Barton’s oral history project through Pollocks Toy Museum; and Wild in the City. The Council is now encouraging Croydon’s faith, community, and voluntary organisations to run creative events and projects for local people which either focus on or help support wellbeing.
Projects do not need to be complicated or large-scale. They should bring communities together, combat isolation, and celebrate the many good things and good people our borough is home to. Projects must take place between 1st February and 29th March 2024 and can be for sums in the range of £200 to £1,200. Details are on the council website.
