The Labour Council has continued to launch surveys for Croydon "Healthy Neighbourhoods", which the Council claims will make local streets quieter, safer and healthier.
This consultation on proposed changes to Healthy Neighbourhood schemes in South Norwood, will close on the Tuesday 24th August 2021.
Please make sure you complete the relevant survey/s before the deadline on Tuesday 24th August 2021.
The survey links are as follows:
Following feedback received from this consultation, the data will then go to the Transport Management Advisory Committee (TMAC) in the autumn.
It is proposed any scheme would last up to 18 months and would include air quality and traffic level monitoring.
I hope this data will be used to fully determine if these schemes improve local air quality, including using baseline data to compare, and not just a means to unfairly introduce a new stealth tax on to residents, which will disproportionately impact the poorest in Croydon!
If you have any problems taking part in the consultation, please let me know at [email protected].
Thank you.
Cllr Scott Roche
Shadow Cabinet Member for Sustainable Croydon.
