We need to ensure police only investigate crime, or incidents at real risk of imminently leading to crime. I hope the Home Secretary does not undo changes recently made to tighten up, and in fact further tightening is needed. No place for the ‘thought Police’ here. Meanwhile, Labour’s announcement on new immigration deals won’t stop the boats. We need a proper deterrent. We had one – Rwanda – which Labour cancelled before it had even stated. That’s why boat numbers are now going up under Labour.
