Joined the meeting last night with the BAME community which sought to address the question "should we take the vaccine"
Overwhelmingly the panellists, clinicians and Community leaders agreed that the way forward was for their communities to take the vaccine. It was agreed that there was reluctance and this was due to false information and conspiracy theories, much has been done and is being done, faith leaders are working together, vaccination centres are being set up in mosques and temples and access to their GPs for expert advice is being encouraged.
Working together will overcome people's anxieties and chart the way forward.
