Coulsdon toilet finally open!

Back in May 2015 I noticed that the public toilet in Coulsdon Town was in a sorry state of repair. I raised this with the Council, and to be honest, expected it to be cleaned and repaired within a few weeks. Boy was that optimistic.
After several months and many emails going backwards and forwards between myself, residents and Council officers, the Coulsdon West Councillors decided to try to raise the profile of the plight of our residents. This from September 2015.
But still, little progress was made removing the blockages to repairing our town's loo. Cllr Bains even made a speech in Croydon Council about it in November 2015!
It has taken until today, in January 2016, for the situation to be resolved. The toilet is now fully functional, clean, and ready to be used by whomever crosses its path.
I've asked the Council to review its processes to ensure that none of my residents have to wait nine months to use the facilities again. Thank you to everyone who has helped to push the Council along on this, and thank you to the several Council Officers who worked for so long against bureaucratic processes to get the loo open.
