Joseph and Robert work hard for the residents of Selsdon and Addington Village. They understand the issues local people face, and ensure they are represented in the Town Hall.

Joseph and Robert hold their surgery on the first Saturday of every month (excluding August) at The Selsdon Centre (next to Sainsbury's) on Addington Road from 10:00 to 11:15am.

Joseph has lived in Croydon with his wife Charlotte since 2014. He is managing director of a business which was set up in 2019.

Robert moved with his family to Croydon in 2006. Originally from an engineering background he latterly specialised in projects to improve the safety, efficiency and quality of business services. He is an experienced decision analyst and a certified project manager.

In 2023, the Boundary Commission for England announced its final recommendations for new Parliamentary Constituencies in England, including here in Croydon. Croydon East is one of the new constituencies, largely made up of the former Croydon Central constituency, but excluding Croydon Town Centre.

Ashen Vale Traffic and Parking Issues.

Following concerns about the junction of Addington Road and Ashen Vale, I met with the Highways department at Ashen Vale to discuss options to make the junction safer and have asked the department to come back to me with possibilities -  this includes taking the double Yellow lines further down

Addington Residents Association

This evening I met with members of the Addington Residents Association - I was impressed with their dedication to make their area the best it can be and I look forward to supporting them further in the months ahead.

Refurbishment of BP Selsdon Park Road

Following questions about the closure of the BP petrol station, I spoke to the Foreman who confirmed that they are refurbishing the station and they plan to reopen on the 12th December.

This evening I had the pleasure of meeting Jack and the team at Percy's Homeless Hub.

Today I visited Culina Bistro, the latest business to open on the high street. I met with Deniz and the team and was really blown away by the refurbishment work they have carried out.

Remembrance Day Service - Croydon Minster

It was a privilege to attend the Croydon Minster for the Croydon Civic Service & Act of Remembrance service. It was led my Bishop Rosemary Mallett and Rev Dr Andrew Bishop, who alongside the congregation reflected on those who lost their lives during the war.
