I'm delighted to announce that the Purley fountain has been restored to working order by the Purley BID, Further details are here:

The BID provided nearly all the funding for this project and Beau Williams and colleagues helped to brighten up the area by repainting some seats and planting some bulbs. The Purley councillors intended to provide some of the funding from our Community Ward Budgets, but unfortunately these small budgets were cancelled when the Council effectively went bankrupt last year.
