I called on an Oakwood Avenue resident this morning ahead of the Planning Committee tonight. While on my way down Downs Court Road, I noticed a loose Thames Water drain cover at the junction with Selcroft Road. It makes a loud cracking noise whenever a bus or lorry drove over it, and must be driving the local residents mad :-( .(sorry photo is on its side)
As the cover said Thames Water on it, I've reported it on the TW website, but you can also report these things via the LoveCleanStreets app which I have recommended many times before.
Using LoveCleanstreets, I've also reported three sets of blocked gullies around my home. I first reported one of them at least three months ago before the Council was officially bankrupt, but nothing has been done, so I am sceptical as to whether anything will be done this time round.... One lives in hope...
