Across Christmas, there was a brief respite from the continuous stream of planning applications in Purley, but they've now resumed with a vengeance.
There's a recent application (20/06319/FUL) to replace the prominent family home at the junction of Foxley Lane with Smitham Bottom Lane by a block of no less than seventeen flats in a 4/5 floor modernist building. As usual, there's inadequate parking, vehicular access will be difficult because of the constant stream of traffic, and the design is interesting, to put it mildly.
