Many residents need some advice and information and in these particularly challenging times, it is more important than ever.
We’ve compiled a list of some key contacts and services which we hope will be helpful – and if you are local organisation which would like to be included please do send us your details.
At the end of such a difficult year, it is right to applaud and thank all the health and key worker professionals working in Croydon to keep us safe. New duties, different working arrangements and challenging circumstances have all had to be managed and it’s such a shame that this new Covid-19 variant has spoiled what should have been a good time to relax and re-charge. However, we must all try our best to be positive and to hope for better times ahead.
In the meantime, a massive and heartfelt thank you to all the local residents who have gone out of their way to help their neighbours this year. 2020 has been a year like no other and hundreds of organisations and individuals have quietly gone the extra mile to help and support residents right across Croydon. Croydon has always been rightly proud of the number of volunteers it has – and what a huge difference they have all made this year.
Some voluntary organisations will continue to work, supporting the most vulnerable of Croydon residents over the Christmas and New Year and we wish them and everyone else who has done their bit for Croydon in 2020, a Happy Christmas and a healthy New Year.
