Selsdon Road remains closed, between its junctions with Chelsham Road and Sussex Road southside, until 15th January. This is to facilitate bridge replacement and enabling works.
The signed diversion for displaced traffic continues to be Brighton Road/ A22 / Downs Court Rd / Mitchley Avenue / Rectory Park / Addington Rd / Selsdon Park Rd / Gravel Hill / Coombe Lane / Coombe Rd / St Peters Road/Croham Road. I'm sure that many of us have experienced heavy traffic on Brighton Road as a consequence of this and everyone's patience is appreciated.
The dates that Sussex Road will be closed at its junction with Selsdon Road (southside) to facilitate the next phase of the bridge replacement works are listed below. During this time there will be no pedestrian route under the bridge but Network Rail will be providing a mini bus to assist with access during this time. We are still awaiting news from Transport for London regarding the 403 and 412 bus diversions which will be necessary during these times and I'll update this page when the information comes through.
Selsdon Rd/ Sussex Rd (southside) will be closed from 20th Dec 18:00 to 21st Dec 04:00.
Selsdon Road and all side roads will be closed between junction with Helder Street and Carlton Road 25th Dec 01:00 to 28th Dec 22:00.
Selsdon Rd/ Sussex Rd will be closed from 29th Dec 18:00 to 30th Dec 04:00.
