We wait to see the full impact Labour's bankrupting of Croydon will have on Coulsdon's services. Shame has been brought to Coulsdon and Croydon generally. Children's services, Westfield, massive financial mismanagement, huge payoffs, reckless investments and more. Croydon's officially bankrupt and going cap in hand to Government with £1.5bn debt for Coulsdon's and Croydon's future generations.
We know that the Community Ward Budgets from which Coulsdon's community groups (charities, the elderly, NHS staff etc) have benefitted have been frozen. This Budget pays for Coulsdon's Christmas lights. Will this money be available next year? We don't yet know the full impact of their financial incompetence.
