Network Work will begin major works on Selsdon rd due to start today.
Network Rail will close Selsdon rd at its junctions with Chelsham Rd and Sussex Rd from October 19th to January 15th. This is to facilitate bridge replacements and enabling works, the removal of the existing bridge and installing a new bridge. Diversions are in place.
The works are necessary as it is a matter of public safety but undoubtably will cause disruption
I just hope lessons have been learnt by Network Rail from similar works on Sanderstead Rd last year that caused a lot of problems for local residents
