Unite members in Croydon council organised a demonstration demanding that Labour council bosses pause the proposed reckless jobs cuts and fully consider all options to preserve as many jobs and protect frontline services.
Labour Croydon allowed £1.5bn of debt to build up in Croydon. Now the council staff who have served Coulsdon so well during the pandemic are suffering the consequences. Labour chickens coming home to roost. Shame on Labour.
