I was recently contacted by residents of Harewood rd to complain that pedestrians could not walk down the footpath due to the growth of the trees. The lower branches were growing right across the paths and pedestrians had to walk in the road. Cars and vans were also finding it difficult to park such was the growth. I contacted the Council on behalf of the residents. While major trees works will be done next year the Council agreed to prune the lower branches so pedestrians on the pavement are not impeded. This work has now been done and these magnificent trees look much better.
