Shadow Leader of the House Business Question, 5 September 2024

Using my time as Shadow Leader of the House of Commons today making sure MPs get time to debate and vote on issues their residents up and down the country care about, and holding the Government accountable on behalf of the public. Challenging the Labour Government at Business Questions to now come clean and disclose all of the politically-affiliated appointments they have made to what is supposed to be an impartial civil service.

In 2023, the Boundary Commission for England announced its final recommendations for new Parliamentary Constituencies in England, including here in Croydon. Croydon South has lost Waddon and Selsdon and gained Park Hill & Whitgift as part of the review.
