Again, a big thank you for what was achieved by so many last month and hopefully just as many of you will turn out on the 18th of this month. The undergrowth has taken over especially around our surviving saplings and specimen trees and it needs cutting back. Tools required are battery hedge cutters and strimmer’s if you have them, plus shears etc. Clothing must be protective and tough to resist the thorny brambles and nettles and thick gloves and stout footwear. Please leave unattended tools in a safe position. Your favourite beverage is also essential for our mid-morning break. The bonfire site will be base camp and from there we will move out to the various areas that need attention. Who knows what the weather will be like on the 18th, but please let’s have another bumper turnout.
