About 20 Purley residents attended the recent Purley Safer Neighbourhood Team ward panel meeting last week which was held at Purley Sports Club.
Chair Ranjiv Nagi had prepared a comprehensive agenda which included the Croydon Safety cabinet member Cllr Ola Kolade and local MP Chris Philp, who is also the Government's policing minister. Local police also supported the event including Sgt Tony Brown, who covers our ward and several others.
We heard interesting presentations from Cllr Kolade and from Chris Philp, and there was also plenty of time for informal chats to the police afterwards.. an excellent event.
