Coombe Wood School will NOT open in September

Yesterday I had confirmation from the Council that the hugely popular Coombe Wood School will not open as planned in September. As this is the most oversubscribed school ever in Croydon the news will be a great disappointment to parents and pupils who have a place.

The school will now be sited on the St Andrews High School for a possible two terms.

This is not the easiest site to access and of course does not have the planned facilities of Coombe Wood School.

Covid 19 and the disruption to the building works has been blamed for the delay.
