UPDATE: 18 March 2024

The pothole was repaired on 14th March, the delay was due to getting a permit to temporary close the road whilst the repair was carried out.

Several residents have contacted me about the large pothole at the bottom of Hayes Lane, near the junction of Park Road.

Whilst reporting potholes on the LoveCleanStreet app usually gets them addressed quickly, this one has taken longer to sort out and it getting much deeper in the meantime. I raised a case with the council on Thursday, emphasising the increasingly heavy use of Hayes Lane by construction vehicles going to the Little Hayes development site and requesting that this stretch of Hayes Lane be more regularly attended. I note that a temporary fix was done yesterday, and I'm waiting for more information on a permanent reinstatement.
