As usual on the first Saturday of every month, Purley councillors held their open surgery this morning. We're normally in Tesco's vestibule, but that wasn't possible this time because of the Remembrance day Poppy collection, so we were in the small passage between Brighton Road & Russell Hill Place. We were also partly sheltering from the rain, though it brightened up later!
We were able to answer a few queries, but the footfall in the centre is sadly a pale shadow of what it used to be, and the weather didn't help...
We look forward to much more engagement during our 2nd December slot 1030-1200 at Tesco.
