Join colleagues for a lunchtime stroll on Wednesday 25th October 1-2pm
– stretch your legs, get some fresh air, and have a chat.
- When: Wednesday 25th October 1 - 2pm
- Where: Meet at Queen’s Gardens (opposite Mint Walk) – continuing to Park Hill Park and finishing back at Queen’s Gardens.
I’m Stephen Woolnough, interim utilities project officer, and member of the Mental Health and Well-being staff network steering group, I'll be leading the walk.
The walk is in partnership with Mental Health Mates, who I'm a volunteer walk leader for, a peer support community of like-minded people who organise regular ‘walk and talks’ where people can connect and share in a safe space, without fear of judgement. Everyone is welcome!
Do check out their website, where you find details of walks all over the UK, including my walk in Highams Park, Northeast London/Epping Forest.
We’ll be sharing details of future Walk and Talks on the intranet but if you’d like to be notified about the next one please join the Mental Health and Well-being staff network Yammer group.
