Good news that Purley Beeches tennis courts are to be refurbished. This is the email I have received from officers about the works.
.Purley Beeches is currently scheduled to begin towards the end of the month with the core works due to be completed mid-December. Please accept that due to the nature of this site it has been difficult to schedule in with absolute accuracy. The tennis courts at Purley Beeches are in a difficult location to be reached by large vehicles and trucks, particularly when wet. We will be pushing for the courts to be operational in December however there is a possibility that the courts may not be and will be completed in the spring.
Please note that none of the courts in Croydon will be painted until spring 2024 due to the weather not allowing for them to dry in the winter.
It is a long time since I played tennis at the courts and the last refurbishment.
