Whoopee! A22 Godstone Road has reopened one week early :-)

The A22 Godstone Road bridge has been closed for five long weeks because of essential roadworks which were needed to allow the installation of a new watermain. Obviously this work has been seriously disruptive to local traffic, which is why it was done during the summer when traffic is at its lightest. 

It's a pleasure to be able to report that the works were completed one week EARLY and the road has been open again since this morning. 

Congratulations to SESW and all the contractors who worked hard to ensure that works were not only completed on time but a whole week early.
