Mayor Perry and I had the pleasure of visiting Diadan House in Shirley run by Kisimul. Kisimul Group provides exceptional services for people with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs, including behaviours of concern through its registered schools, college and care homes. Kisimul provide both education and care for children up to the age of 19, along with registered residential care and supported living services for adults aged 18 to 65.
It was great to see the art exhibition and enjoy meeting residents, families and carers and see for ourselves the good care and provision they are providing in our borough. Paulette, pictured here made us a wonderful cake which was absolutely delicious.
Many thanks to all for a really enjoyable and entertaining afternoon.
