It was a great joy to attend a performance of ‘Why On Earth’ at the BRIT school last week. As part of the London Borough of Culture programme the performance has been accompanied by an education package that has enabled pupils at the BRIT school to engage and work with schools across the borough.
On Saturday it was a pleasure to attend Trinity School and join pupils from Shankara Vidhya Bhavan Tamil school at the performance showcasing the varied and amazing talents of pupils at the School. It is such a pleasure to join these events that are being spotlighted by the Croydon Borough of Culture programme – ‘This is Croydon’. I am learning so much about the amazing talents and skills of the young people from the diverse communities that make up Croydon. It goes to prove that Croydon has a very bright future.
