I was so pleased to get confirmation from the Planning Enforcement Officer of the Council that the planning permission granted under the the Labour Administration to build a block of flats at 444 Selsdon road has now expired. This means that if the developer wishes to develop he will have to put in a new planning application
This property on the corner of Selsdon road and West Hill used to be a beautiful house with a beautifully maintained garden. Sadly it is now very neglected.
Great credit to local residents who got together and formed CHASRO committed to fighting the block of flats at 56 West Hill and opposite at 444 Selsdon road in every way and including through the courts. Legal challenge continues against the block currently being constructed at 56 West Hill but we are all so pleased to get confirmation that the planning permission has expired at 444 Selsdon road.
